As an engineer in the EU-funded eQATOR project, I am working together with an international consortium of universities, research centres and industrial partners to develop innovative, resource-saving technologies.
The aim of the project is to develop electric heating technologies that make energy-intensive processes more sustainable and efficient and thus make an important contribution to the green transformation of European industry.
One of our main project meeting was held in Brussels in April 2025. The focus of the meeting was on aligning and coordinating the ongoing work - an important step towards harmonising our technical developments and achieving the best possible joint results.
After our meeting, the design of two test reactors with state-of-the-art electroceramic heating technology is now entering the realisation phase.
It is exciting to see how ideas from around three years ago are now becoming concrete technologies with future potential.
The work of the eQATOR project impressively demonstrates how technological innovation, European cooperation and sustainable thinking can go hand in hand.
